First 55 chapters are hard to get thru lol but then thru 81 they're pretty good payoff. I heard the comments say the last chapters were best and the numbered chapters go up through the nineties so I was confused when it ended at 81. More groveling would have been nice

Damn this was freakin good and really think how difficult liking someone is, Seon oh (sorry if I said his name wrong ) is relatable and makes me stop and think. I also like how Mr. Kwon isn’t an a hole like some other ceos stories I’ve read. Ugh so good and the art style is so pretty!

Kinda dark, honestly the angst was good but the redemption arc was mid. Kinda wish bottom had just a little bit more of a back bone. And wish we got to see more of life after they got together since uh the rest of the story was lowkey depressing.

And minus points for a pointless “we knew each other when we were young”. Like if you knew he was the kid you cared for since he was a literal child, you wouldn’t ask for him to strip the first time you guys officially meet. Wish the top like LOVED the bottom more you know? Anyways moving on

Mmkay, 7/10 plot stereotypical debt plot, Mr kwon really does pay back for all the shit he put him thru yeon-oh absolutely goated uke. But the thing that makes this is 5 stars… the art. The art is so fucking gorgeous and beautiful. Every single frame is beautiful and the characters are all so god damn hottttt omg 10000099/10 art, genuinely. Also uke is really a man so I like that

I picked this up again after dropping it around Ch. 33. While the story feels a bit too drawn out at the beginning, the pacing definitely picks up once the backstory of S1 is fully explained.

My main issue with the plot was Jaehyuk’s plan. Keeping Yeonoh completely in the dark about his ultimate goal (the USB) made it look like he really was just stringing him along to get under his Gramps skin. It left Yeonoh vulnerable to so many embarrassing moments. Honestly I can't even blame Yeonoh... sis was just being real. (but he's in my top 5 embarrassing MC's fr). Love that he has a backbone despite everything he went through growing up.

I think the lack of chemistry when I first started reading this was largely due to Jaehyuk’s completely impassive expressions throughout the story. I kept asking myself why this ML seems so dead inside. But ig he’s just not an expressive person, and tbh same sometimes? I think I started to appreciate JH after understanding his family history and his rich savior complex tendencies and just accepting that he wasn't ready for a relationship in the beginning.

The feelings were obv mutual for a while, but Yeonoh already accepted early on that his love would never be reciprocated, so he just kept acting out. Meanwhile, Jaehyuk wasn't ready to face his own emotions and couldn't express them well anyway and also kept doing dumb things. Very clown x clown. It started being an enjoyable read when you get to laugh about it from this pov.
