Super cute couple now I gotta read the novel
Hard to follow since the original source material that this is a side story to is essentially lost to time but if you just focus on the plots presented, it's fine. I adore the art style but I'm absolutely biased towards this author's work so take that as you will. I didn't like the lead's possessive nature over the main character but I also can't say if their past warrants this because, once again, no knowledge of the original series. I think I disliked the lead in general. He was too pushy and controlling and though they tried to play it for comedy, I wasn't laughing. There are better works out there, so in my opinion, this isn't worth the read but it also isn't anything egregious.
