This was a fun story about police officers and love triangles. Shipper!coworkers, jealousy, partners kissing during stakeouts, and love at first sight. It's pretty far-fetched and silly, but it was enjoyable. TW for past sexual assault for one of the main characters.

Surprisingly good. Lots of focus on the "detective" aspect, but done well. The sex scenes are few and very mild, but they are there, making this manga balance on a razor's edge between shounen ai and yaoi.
A classic buddy-cop story following two couples. Our tale opens with an idealistic and impetuous young detective from a rural precinct joining the Tokyo PD, where he is paired with a senior detective. They develop feelings for one another, but can they learn to communicate?
This pairing has a lot to love about it. It is, of course, a classic buddy cop story with a shounen ai twist, but it avoids several cliches of both genres. The younger partner (and the uke) is a highly intuitive and - at times - brilliant detective (he is neither a bumbling idiot who perpetually needs protection nor an obsessive rule follower). The older detective (the seme) is reserved, but he's not unlikeable and demonstrates a fair amount of compassion and good sense. Their dynamic is genuinely fun to watch, and the side characters (and side characters that end up taking a more central role in the second part of the story) are an unmitigated delight.
There is a delicious comedic sensibility throughout, excellent pacing, and, at times, a degree of emotional depth that sets this manga apart from other similar yaoi. The art (which I quite like) is fairly typical of the early-mid 2000s in that it is more comic than beautiful. Each character has a very distinctive look, which is one of this mangaka's consistent strengths.
While there is a bit of sexual harassment at work (and if you're looking for a full set of content warnings and don't mind spoilers, see the end of the review), it is very, very mild (minimal groping), and the dynamic of the relationships in this story are not based on rape or rapey dynamics. Definitely a lot of fun.
I won't say too much about the second couple for fear of spoilers, but I will say that I liked this pairing just as well and while there is a character with unrequited feelings for another, I wouldn't call this anything akin to a genuine love triangle. If the "love triangle" tag turns you off for fear that this dominates the story, you needn't worry.
***** Spoilers & CW Ahead ****
Years before the manga takes place, one of the characters was the victim of a really brutal gang rape, and a lot of the second half of the story explores how this event affected him and his relationship to his family. There isn't anything graphic or brutal and it isn't glamorized at all - in fact, the trauma is treated seriously by showing how the character is coping with his past. It's tastefully done, in my opinion, but if this is the kind of thing that will upset you for whatever reason, definitely give this one a miss. Otherwise, I will say I was incredibly impressed with how well this theme was handled, given how this genre often tends to glamorize/fail to acknowledge/fetishize/sensationalize rape.
Read it like this:
1) Hana to Ryuu
2) Kizuna
3) Mazase Hero
this is rated so high, but I just couldn't get into it... maybe I didn't give it a fair shot... I don't want to rate this but maybe one day I'll go back and fall in love with it... I hope
Amazing, I loved it. So hot
