I was reading this on bilibili and some ppl speculated that they're friends with benefit. I disagree. from the way Yan Shuo act, and that one time he mention 'this ridiculous play' and 'he haven't done anything to me yet', my speculation is that its a 'pet play' non sexual of course. I just think its weird that chen ze say mutual benefit, while its not really benefitting Yan Shuo lol Ze only want this pet play because its reminding him of his dog. and yan shuo coincidentally act like a dog when he's drunk that one time and that really caught Ze interest for some reason? I guess he just have a fetish, but its is not explained to reader wtf this 'mutual benefit' is and let reader just wonder. There's just to many weird plot in this manhua. The pacing is quite jarring and unattractive. First of all, why the hell Shuo want to 'online dating' with elementary or kindergartner? what is he thinking?? although its his dumb ass assumption, why an elementary school kid and he want to keep going? BRO. im just gonna smh with this plot and character. Ze is quite an eccentric character, I'd say. So suddenly want to do contract with Shuo and this mutual benefit thing is a secret not to be know even to reader. and then he seems to coming off too strong with his pursuing, although Shuo liking it but to me as reader, this is such s weird characters and story pacing. These characters seems like just some very incomplete description of a characters and not something that makes any sense as a proper characters, you get me? Ze, from silent, indifferent to this? that caught people off guard for sure. its not 180, its 360 turn of a character personality. I wouldn't say he is OOC (out of character), but its just not elaborate properly i feel like. Its just so many lacking in this manhua, it has potential, especially the misunderstanding arc (beginning of the chapters), its hilarious and I like it, but after the contract arc, it turn confusing and messy.

Complete. I started to hate the seme as soon as he showed his “Contract” gross then it just went down hill From there. I hated how they kept talking about sexuality so ignorantly. And the seme’s Confession was one of the worst I’ve ever seen . So I just skimmed the rest I couldn’t enjoy them as couple. I only stayed for the other group members interactions and the second couple I loved them but the second couple was done so dirty we didn’t even get to see them get to together those were the only enjoyable things in the story unfortunately and they barely show .
