both tops are just gay and autistic as hell I'M CRINE really two peas in a pod no wonder they're best friends

also it may not have the most outstanding of plots but the characters feel so alive that it elevated the story by multiple levels. they're faceted, they're not archetypal, they don't go OOC, and they have such distinctive personalities. so not only do the dialogues sound natural, which really helped with the immersion, every relationship development between the couples also gave me a sense of fulfillment as a reader because i am deeply empathetic of and emotionally connected to these characters. i share their happiness and sadness, all their highs and lows, their frustrations and relief, as i would to my friends. i adore them to no end.
