I adore how simplistic the art style is. Everything feels very straightforward & it feels uncomplicated & refreshing. While the art is unique, I thought the cover looked gloomy & might be serious & boring. I love how it subverted my expectations with the unexpected, outrageous, & funny interactions between the mom & daughter in law.
Also love how after they make a joke, the other has this static panel to just let it sink in. It's funny!
