I really feel as if the author was limited to 50 chapters. There was so much potential here, if only the crevices in the plot could have been explored further, if only the author had sat with their characters a bit more. It definitely feels like the work of an amateur, but that does not mean it was bad. With a few revisions and a bit more time, this could become a great, great story.

Great story with a strong female lead as a princess who lives up to her title. It’s a story of magic but you actually understand where the magic comes from. It’s a romance but I feel they could’ve added a bit more intimate details between the two. I also wished it was longer as there are a few side characters I wanted to see. But a good read nonetheless.

I stumbled upon this series by accident when I was looking for something to read in the fantasy genre. I was a bit hesitant to read this since I'm not a huge fan of the cover (I know, I must not judge by covers but sometimes I just can't help it lmao), but oh boy was that a good read. The world-building is just so good, it still leaves a lot of room for the readers to speculate and it also pushes the story forward without losing the interests of the readers. I was interested more with the plot about magic than the romance aspect of this series which is also a good sign lmao. If you're into fantasy series and romance I definitely recommend you to read this one.
