MC gets transferred the heart of her caretaker—an immortal witch that took care of her when she was abandoned by her noble family. From the shock, I guess? She was asleep for TWENTY YEARS. The witch had a song who the MC cared about. When the witch was manipulated to destroy the town, MC helps her break the spell but at the cost of her life. That’s how she ends up with the witch’s heart. After she wakes up she’s not aware that 20 years have passed. Now the 3yo child (who she helped raise) is 23 yo and the ML. ML leads and army and MC joins in an effort to “look after him” as she should’ve since that’s what she promised the witch as she got her heart. Cannot stand the age difference. Villainess lacks any braincells. New characters out of the blue that conveniently appear and add nothing.

It waant bad but in aspects of romance it really took a back seat. I believe if the story focused solely on revenge, or better incorporated their love story it would be a banger. Ik some ppl have a problem with the age gap but she was essentially also young & they are both adults now. Some things I absolutely loved where their color schemes, specifically the ml purple eyes (rare to see honestly) and the fl sage eyes & white hair, but her hair was something luscious locks. Also the ml's parents tragic love story is another loved aspect. All in All ita not an amazing or 100% entertaining series. As the ending was super rushed, literally one chapter and done, the romance severly lacked in the plot, and the villian got off to easy in my book. But after seeing its thr artist first story, Ill give them more grace, as it was interesting enougn and definitely a re-read to pass the time, just needed tweaks here & there. Plus I love witches <3
