The emotions in this are incredibly shallow. I agree with people saying this isn't "cheating." Hikari was a prostitute from the start, the mating was forced, and he never agreed to becoming a couple. But all we get are some really random shots of him having sex with strangers, no emphasis on feeling empty or used by the whole thing, but presumably he did because he walked away from it when he fell in love. There is very little chemistry before the onsen chapter, but that comes after the alpha said he was already in love basically, and even then we never see them connect outside of sex really. Gimme a little cuddling to feel their closeness! Also, the pacing is pretty bad. There aren't enough establishing panels, so you just get thrust into a scene and are playing catchup on what's happening and with whom. All told it is a pretty standard one volume omegaverse, but really is nothing special.
