This one I had to read in sections. The characters had so much depth that I couldn’t help feeling heartbroken through the journey but the portrayal was so beautiful that I couldn’t not finish it. One of the best stories I’ve read among the many.

fuckkkkk this is pmo. they are GASLIGHTING this man. the south literally invaded conquered his land and killed his parents and the knights know this yet they STILL bother him, use him for their convenience to make medication for his OPPRESSOR, and get angry at him whenever he messes up. it hasn’t shown the context yet, but i am on the north’s side like im so flipping north. those two northern ‘witches’ that came? yall killed their friends and family, god forbid they want vengeance for the sun witch which slaughtered thousands. they gotta let me see the sun witch’s bg, whether she was under a curse which forces her to follow orders or SOMETHING idfk. if the south was the underdog that was being horrifically mistreated by the north (north-south divide lol) maybe i could see from their perspective of invasion, but nooo, it’s js that the flipping king is greedy asf
