It is a really strange manga. While the mathematical problems, beeing partly rather advanced stuff, are explained pretty good, the background story is more or less obscure and difficult to grasp. Not that there were a lot of a real story there in the first place. A big kudos to the translator, though. Must have been a real nightmare to get all those mathematical nuances right.
