I should've read the comments saying it'd be sad... I totally saw it coming from almost the start, but I kept hoping it wouldn't be so, somehow. I was wrong. Still, it was a beautiful story about the need to connect with others and people's goodwill despite appearances.
I hate that it made me tear up though, I really didn't want to get all teared up :
