The ending was quite abrupt and not well executed.
The mc was supposedly smart yet she somehow always got caught in schemes and had to be saved by someone lol so frustrating. She was entitled and a damsel in distress. As for the ml, neither his personality nor presence added anything to the story, rather annoying and invasive.
The emperor made me want to personally assassinate him. I had hoped to see him actually die and for the throne to be passed onto the fourth prince.
I hated her maids too, they were so annoyingly stupid. Well everyone was some level of stupid.
We also didn’t get to see any of the enemies suffer for long enough. 200+ chapters of them frustrating me (especially Yao Zhu & empress& Ex husband), by the end just to see a single panel of their suffering or none at all.
