After hearing that MC went to the south with Ethan, MC's idiot father Duke ordered for her to be sent back to the capital as soon as possible. He feared that MC was out to investigate his corruption and find evidence of his collusion with the other corrupt nobles.

Stopping reading here for now. Translation is not good and I'd rather read with good English Translation so I don't misunderstand the story.

Why is that when there is something "wrong" with the MC, they have that thing removed when they get resurrected? Seems like a huge cop out and sends the wrong message. Like now she's "pretty"? The story would have been better written from the start if it did not include the birthmark at all or actually followed through the whole way. Don't bullshit with half measures to give the protag something the others will hate them for.
