ml is a yandere guy who kidnapped the youngest daughter, and they both fell in love with each other ig??? N he fell in love because she didn’t cry from the emotional damage to a gun to her head n stuff but only cried when he said he was there for her…ok. I don’t really know if this whole time he’s just manipulating her or something, he did say he was in love but I don’t really know where the plot is going….anyways; dropped on ch.32

I had high hopes at the beginning of the story because the plot seemed thrilling and intriguing. But it turned out that the author dismissed half of the narration. I dont get when and why FL fell for ML - given her aloof, calculative and distrustful personality she shouldnt fall for ML's shady courtship that looked like acting without some significant signs of his sincerety. But there is no such events in the story. Moment ago she was suspecting him in some pervertive playing with her feelings, but next chapter she is suddenly blushing and trusting him. Completely out of character. And why did she return home with lieutenant while her priority was her safety? There was so much she could do to avoid that snake lair, but she just followed to her death flag. Author, where is reason for this?

The same thing goes for ML. I didnt understand what feelings ML harbored towards FL when he kidnapped her and what caused it to transform into the affection. But later we were given a hint that for ML it was smth like childhood love. This is so boring crappy reason for the refined yandere villain!!
Overall it totally feels like the essential part of the romance development was skipped up.

Also the reveal of FL's character during the story made me frustrated. At first chapters i thought she was sturdy strong-willed character. But then i read here and there her inner self-pitying thoughts like "why do i always end up alone"... this is not strong personality. This girl is vulnarable and pessimistic like she has a wounded heart and lack of confidence. And after ML saved her from prison, she acts like shy damsel swept away with love . That is not what i was expecting and, frankly, it is quite dissapointing development.

The art is mid. The dresses are ugly asf. I was so expectant off the transformation scene and then the FL came out looking like a high class MAID. She is drawn so ugly atleast give her pretty clothes or hairstyle.
