The hype around this was absolutely justified. The story is solid, the characters are engaging, and the romance is sweet. I find it a bit unfortunate that MC was constantly surrounded with men and lacks female friendship. But all in all, it's an enjoyable read

This is a must-read that draws u in and won't let u go until the end. Apart from an amazing romance it's also a fantasy whodunit which gets more and more complicated. I love the strong FL and the sly and obsessive ML, their dynamic sometimes made me laugh out loud.

TRANSMIGRATION, MURDER
After her death the FL possesses the body of the og FL's friend who gets murdered by her fiancee. To avoid that she uses her knowledge about him to make the og ML (duke) her temporary fiancee and help her escape. But there's still someone after her and her relationship with the ML doesn't stay platonic.

SPOILER:
The original owner of the FL's body used magic to take over the og FL's body and tries to kill her because one of them must die in order for the other one to live bc their bodies reject their souls. She uses the king's fiancee to help her but kills her when she tries to escape the scheme.
