Holy fuck was this a masterpiece. The art and story telling are stellar. Additionally I like the themes that went along with it. It definitely was no big romance moments but I think that’s what made it so good. I love this authors works, in big part due to the way they represent these wlw pair. The main leads felt so raw in their efforts to protect one another, despite not really knowing one another that well.

A beautiful short story that sounds like a wonderful old fairytale. Judging by the cover I wonder if Rosie’s siren love goes on land just to visit Rosie and her father even if just a short while before returning to the sea where she can continue her work like Rosie. Funny how both of them seem like the true missionaries who wish to help those forgotten rather than leading mobs to segregate outcasts.
