Ch 3 He is damn awesome, chaotic evil lol
Ch 17 I love him for that
Ch 23 What a fucked up family
Ch 27 He came hack to his senses, good
Ch 32 Even his enemies are speechless. Well killing grandmasters for 10 million won is a bit extreme after all lol
Ch 27
Ok story, was honestly thinking of quitting early on but the cliffhangers got to me. The art is good, detailed in parts and deliberately weird in others (like exaggerated ugly faces to emphasize the tone of a situation, whether it's horror, helplessness, anger, comedy.) Also super chaotic in the fight scenes I have to go back and forth multiple times to see what's happening in some places.
It's hard to understand what's going on at first, why the grandmasters start attacking the world, but that gets explained later on, although it just opens up a lot of other questions.
But around Ch17-18 some seriously questionable stuff happens. The 7th ranked grandmaster uses an item in-game that puts people in such a state of fear that not only do they completely freeze, they disconnect from the world instantly and have panic attacks in real life, some even go into shock and have heart attacks. People died from this incident, but while it's reported, why didn't this guy get arrested???? Like, sure the encrypted information is hard to find, but really? No one even mentioned that he had to be put in prison for murder? Because that's basically what he did. There's no news of what happens to him after Ashy defeats him just yet.
And there's one more thing I don't get. How did this VR world manage to become its own economy? As the VR world is destroyed, there's economic losses in the real world, and it's big to the point that world leaders and governments are having numerous meetings over it, and at least some, maybe all, are in virtual meetings with their avatars. Making money from games isn't that strange or new, but it's taken to such an extreme here. People try to kill the MC irl because of this game, too.
Oh, and the MC's weapon levels up by him doing evil acts irl.
It's a crazy concept that kind of works, but I'm really just holding on because I want to see what happens, I don't know how I actually feel about it. I can appreciate that it doesn't abandoned real life completely as some VR stories I've seen to the point that I wonder if those people got stuck in the game like with SAO or Log Horizon (I've only watched the abridged versions of these btw.) I'm giving it 5 stars for now, but I do want to see some good character development from the MC.
It's cool and all but the storyline is nonexistent, pace is weird and the translation or at least the way its written is horrid. Its like reading a very very long prologue except that's the whole thing. It's as if someone who could only draw well decided to make a story without knowing how to make a story. There is virtually barely any dialogue and not evenough panels to make any. It's lazy and just bad storytelling.
Sounds pretty bad. Like a generic weak to strong mc with no control

Hoooooly~ this definitely has my interest, since everything happening is just in a VR [or is it?] And MC has to do evil things to be stronger ☆☆
I'm also curious about that merchant lady, I hope we get to see more of her [not romance tho]
