It's a slow burn but it's very much worth it. This is the story that made me turn around my perspective towards the potential of what a female protagonist can do. My frustrations towards her struggles felt very in line towards what it is in real life. The king's quite cute but that's not his defining trait. He's also a strong character whose unprejudiced mind I admire. Just a really good story in general
SO WELL MADE. From the drama, the world, the characters, the art and the politics everything is just majestic. I'm starting to like stories with some politics in it but I lack the focus to keep my attention on it once it gets too detailed but King's Maker sums everything up so nicely that I can follow through easily. THE DEVOTION BETWEEN THE MAIN COUPLE IS JUST WOW. I like how Wolfgang subtly matures but still keeps his bright personality. Soohyuk is THE BEST but he breaks my heart <
Although it ended abruptly, this was still one of the best manhwa I've read so far about a relationship. Not just in BL but in general. I feel like we should've seen what the rest of the characters were up to but I think the creator still did them justice in terms of their character and struggle and I love it. The characters felt real and I feel like I could connect with them. Sijun is proof that you can make a realistic cool and lovable character. Cast is strong. I LOVE EM ALL
1st Season: I love the balance of this couple SO MUCH. Taehee's "proactiveness" towards Dojin was pretty hot ngl. I like his unexpected assertive charm that he only shows on "special occasions" haha. I like Dojin's character as well, mostly because I want a real life friend like him who seems so down to earth and reliable. Has a lot of steamy scenes thanks to a certain someone but it can be a little repetitive as I read on but it's still a solid one
I'm surprised this didn't skyrocket to popularity in the BL genre BECAUSE IT'S SO GOOD??!! ART IS TOP TIER and it's perfectly cute and sexy at the same time what more could you ask for? It's such a fun read. There isn't much of a supporting cast but Dojun and Jaehee are enough to keep me invested. I want to befriend someone like Dojun in real life maybe then I could get my life together. Also, JAEHEE GO GET HIM, I SUPPORT YOU YOU'RE NOT UGLY </3
Never in my life did I think that I would be so interested in a story centered around a child and her father as much as this. It makes my heart so full but it breaks it so damn hard at the same time. Claude's character is so interesting by itself already the artist didn't have to make him SO DAMN FINE IT'S UNFAIR. The world and the story is well developed plus the ART IS EXCELLENT. Anthanasia's efforts in calming Claude is so hilarious to me and the rest of the cast is great
