The main couple has a mostly consensual relationship. Due to one character being deaf, there are some occasional communication errors that result in unwanted fondling/sexual acts. Later in the story, there are two scenes where the top intentionally doesn't ask for consent, but is very apologetic afterward. Ultimately, the characters end up enjoying this.
The other couple has one sex scene that is fully consensual.
