This manga is outright amazing. The story and character development is rich, entertaining and makes you think. It's the whole package. There's friendship, romance, angst, the feeling of being misunderstood, and a ton of other things, all in this supahh good manga. Would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a romance manga with a well planned story. It's so smooth! Hidamari ga kikoeru tells a story of a almost-deaf boy and his soulmate to be~
As the story progressed Jaerim just grew more and more on me. Went from an irritating uggo to amazing and cute. Yuri on the other hand... carries A LOT of emotional baggage. Cute at times, but really frustrating at other times...
Honestly loved this one. It's unique and interesting, and I love the artstyle. Also the juxtification going on is just- yeah, making Yuri and Jaerim a pair was genious.

Though the only tags on this manga are yaoi and doujinshi I'd say this is a jewel when it comes to those categories. As opposed to many other yaois this is not at all about smut. It has a great plot with many twists and turns and tells a compelling story. I also like the worldbuilding and the idea of additional sexes like doms and subs. Although the dynamics are used to get the characters together, the author still adresses what's problematic about that kind of society. Love it! <3
