This was so sweet. The lead up to the romance was unexpected, but refreshing. Okumura is unsure and afraid of commitment and Takamine is so incredibly, and somehow lovingly, dense. It's so obvious that he knows very little about love, but he means well with every majorly big step he takes.
I gave this one three stars because, while they do end up together, the road up to that was... unsavory. Naoto is so cruel to Toudou by thinking that because he's gay, any man will do for him. And when Toudou confesses that he loves Naoto, Naoto thinks that going out with Toudou to try and keep him in his life even though he doesn't consciously reciprocate his feelings is a good idea. He doesn't mean to be cruel, but being dumb isn't a good excuse for hurting someone.
This was so funny. Anezaki is such a prick at first, but turns into a loveable loon when given the opportunity, and Mikado is so unexpectedly pure given his appearance and determination to keep his idol fanboying a secret. A very sweet read about an unlikely romance between two cute office workers.
A great mix of angst and sweetness. It could have benefitted from more chapters to flesh out the characters a little more, but still a lovely story. Kanzaki and Futagami's feelings for each other are so sincere and earnest that you can't help but cheer for them when they finally take the plunge and confess they want to be together.
This was cute! Shinosuke is so sweet and such a hard worker, (even when he doesn't need to be.) And his relationship with Shizuka is so tender and loving. It's completely understandable though why he would be afraid of getting too close for fear of being taken advantage of like he had been in the past. But once he let's down his walls and accepts Shizuka's love, everything turns magical and sappy. A really sweet read.
