Kind of like omegaverse, in which a second gender is introduced. But instead of Alpha, Beta, Omega hierarchy, the universe has Dominant and Submissives. 

Doms - wants to dominate, to protect, to spoil, etc.
Subs - wants to be dominated, to be protected, to be spoiled, etc.
