It is such a bitter end. Mamiya finally have someone he can fall in love to and somehow be a little bit open (what with his tsundereness and past trauma) about his feeling. While sada, ah, well, he is very kind till the end. And he is simply back to where he was supposed to be before meeting mamiya again, being dead. (No sarcasm)
In the end I don't know if what mamiya would do is suicide or if he'll take the virus in too, but I'm pretty sure it's suicide rather than being alive more.
