Probably the most well known piece of BL comic that made people cry. Plot is very heavy and with little to no happy moments to balance out the somberness and pain you feel througout the story.
Cry factor: 5/5 (will ugly cry, especially later on)
One of the best Shounen ai titles i have ever read. The author captures the struggles of both characters so well and towards the end your mascara you didn't know you had on will be running down your cheek.
Cry factor: 5/5 (ugly cry in the finale)
Another very well known yaoi comic. This one hit me hard towards the end, and their Bonnie&Clyde style of love was very sweet.
Cry factor: 3/5 (cry towards the end)
Not alot of people have read this Manwha, but in my opinion it deserves to be talked about alot more. The story is very solid and at points it is very sad.
Cry factor 3/5 (some really hard chapters to go through without bawling)
Amazing story of love and how to keep moving on despite the lack of it. Had me in tears.
Cry factor: 3/5 (First few chapters were just somber, but the last 2 or 3 really were a punch in the gut)
Really good story. Very realistic and a very progressive portrayal of gay love for when this came out (1996).
Cry factor: 2/5 (some scenes tugs your heart, but nothing too much to handle in my opinion)
Short story that will leave you questioning why does mankind exist.
Cry factor: 3/5 (the reveal at the end made me sob)
Very similar in story to Complex, but shorter and more condesed into specific years of their lives. The recurring theme of the line is what made me cry.
Cry factor 2/5 (some sobs, but not too angsty)
Warning: This is still ongoing. If you are an emotional bitch like me and cannot handle not having closure, read it when it is completed.
So far story is amazing. It focuses on how to surpass emotional trauma and i want all the characters (except one) to be happy. Honestly hope that this has a strong end, as strong as it's beginning.
Cry factor: 5/5 (caught me by surprise by how much i cried over this story and how much my heart hurt aftee i read the first few chapters)
The uke in this story is such a mess. Season 2 i believe is so much stronger in plot than season 1 (probably because the author thought about season 2 then decided to first make a prequel for that story) and some scenes are very hard to read without at least getting teary eyed.
Cry factor: 1/5 (it had a couple of very hard scenes, but nothing much really)
