About a world where whales and humans have switched places. Really weird, not that pleasing to the eye i think, but interesting.
(All the work of this author that I've read is weird and shows interesting, new things)
When I started to read this manga, i thought that they would have a classic romantic relationship, maybe kissing, sex. I was frustrated throughout the whole manga because they never got together in that way. But then i realized that their relationship is incredibly precious, it's one of a kind. It's interesting that they don't need classic romantic stuff in their relationship and love each other in a unique way.
It's about fairies that sense when a human is going to be happy and wait alongside him/her until they can eat that happiness (no negative effects).
I found it interesting that in these stories, it's portrayed like humans can only be happy by loving and being loved back in a romantic way. That's why some remain unhappy for decades, waiting for romantic love/happiness to appear.
Some people nowadays think that way, but you can choose what you value and are happy about.
In this manga (and sequel), the female mc is interesting. She calls herself an observer and doesn't like to get involved in other people's affairs. She's strong and an own pace character. You don't see an unique human being like her often xD
The male mc has a friend who remembers everything from his past lives, is desperate and wants to destroy the world. He really has some psychological problems. The male mc too kinda, suffering from living for eternity (or so) and seeing the people he loves die. He and the female mv don't hate or demonize his friend though. It's human.
The female mc is just ... she really has an interesting character. She's really strong, both physically and emotionally. She's trusting and forgiving, doesn't hate or demonize people (often her friends or other ones close to her) for doing shitty things to her. That kinda sounds like she's okay with being treated badly and being a victim, but she isn't. She has her own pace and way of thinking.
The female mc turns into a lie detector after an accident, she now sees people in black when they lie. At first, she really judges lying people but comes to understand that there's always a reason that someone's lying and that there isn't someone who never does it.
Character growth and greyish (opposite to black and white) worldview
A guy decides to temporarily adopt a Siberian husky after finally breaking it off with his long-term boyfriend that was allergic to dug. Turns out it's a wolf... A werewolf to be exact.
Both couples are quite unlike anything I've seen before. First is is a couple of sluts (lmao): straight uke sees gay seme having sex and wants to have a go. Second couple is a mentally unstable actor who wants his boyfriend to eat him so they can be together forever plus mentally far too stable (xD) college soccer player. Both are entertaining :D
