This was a bit confusing at first but the was because I lack brain cells. The art style for this felt other world at times and that really fit in with this story well. If you like stories with deeper meanings and just an aura of mysteriousness, this is webtoon is for you. 9.6/10
despite the name this is NOT an incest themed story.
This takes on grief, abuse, and finding family. This also has a redemption/second chance theme so if you're into that this is for you. 9.4/10

Autobiographical, based on the author's struggles with his sexual identity and life as a gay man. Really wholesome.

Ok so this isn't necessarily indie or obscure anymore but still wanted to include it.

Every season is a different story but all the characters are connected.
S1 - nontraditional pairing (tall girl x short boy), fake dating, cute romance. 9.4/10
S2 - confronting grief & trauma, dealing with the aftermath of suicide. 9.5/10
S3 - revenge dating, overcoming trauma, bullying. 9.2/10

OK SO THE COVER ISN'T REALLY THE BEST REPRESENTATION OF THE MANGA. I myself was skeptical of this but its probably one of the best action mangas I have read. Everyone is "overpowered" in a way, but the fights are still so interesting. the Jack the Ripper arc had so many twists, it just kept me on the edge. 9.6/10
Update - It has an anime
Story isn't that deep or existential, but the art is very pretty. The coloring of this manhwa is very out of the ordinary and I would def recommend this for just that. FL is the takes no shits vibes. 9.3/10

[Oneshot] It’s a cute story and the art is pretty detailed. I would say this is action and just overall wholesomeness. Those who were once weak, but now strong, helping others. 9.6/10
