Gintama had always been close to my heart, it was kind of like a sort of light when I was having such a hard time. While I went to the anime first and think that the anime was better in a way, the manga is equally close to my heart as it is the same. If I were to pick a shounen series, or a series in general that felt like I’m at home, Gintama is the one I would choose. Picking up Gintama is probably, the best decision in my life.
It would be hard to dive deep into this review because ffs i cannot keep my mouth shut when it comes to spoilers so I’ll keep this short and simple, ORV is special. There’s no other novel that I would love more than this, i cried for them, i loved them, i cheered them on, and cried a lot more. I know this is the manwha, but all forms of ORV i would love all the same so this is a favorite, instantly.

Another one of those stories where story telling just shines. With how the story is portrayed and how it shows its secrets in such a subtle yet straightforward manner is astonishing. The politics in this one is one of the best and the characters are just so well developed. Not only that, the visuals is a whole ass meal. This story is the definition of “reality” where it sweet but it also hurts, I think it’s obvious at this point, but stories with a touch of reality is the best
As a person who is not a big fan of classic shoujo because of the portrayal of woman, Akatsuki no Yona was one of the OG Shoujo’s that showed a realistic portrayal of how woman can be powerful. Yona is a inspiring role model for me, she was weak yet grew to be such a powerful person and it really captured my heart. She is the true definition of a woman, a person who does not bow down yet still kind deep down.
King’s Maker is one of the best BL’s I have ever read and it is sort of the one that secured my love for BL as a whole. The plot and the romance that developed between Wolfgang and Shin through the period of the worsts was just compelling, how they portrayed the emotions of each character, the struggle, the sheer desperation just felt so real. This is what I call the peek of storytelling, the best of the best in its genre.
I’m the type of person who absolutely hates angst, but there’s something about This Witch of Mine that just makes it different from the rest. The raw feeling of the emotions, the story, the different shades of the characters and their reasons, it just felt so realistic. This is the standard of what makes a drama revolved story good. Seriously, its just one of the best
While the webtoon is still ongoing, I know that this would be one of the best BL I will ever encounter in my life time. The novel was the best BL and perhaps even best novel I have ever read. The story has this irresistible charm that is different from the rest and the characters, the romance was just breathtaking. I might even go so far as to say that this is the best romance novel I can think of because theres nothing else to say.
Even when its still incomplete, I’m Stanning the Prince is one of my guilty pleasures. The relationship of everybody is heartfelt and I can’t resist the mysteries of the plans and how just subtle each hint within the dialogue and the art holds. This webtoon is one of the few that knew how to keep my interest without boring me, especially if you combine the sweet romance between the main couple. It seems like curiosity always somehow win my heart.
I fell in love with Who Made Me A Princess in my first read, it somewhat reminded me of my upbringing, despite the fear I felt for my parents when I was young, they ended up becoming the most important people in my life that I am willing to exchange my life for, I don’t care about the romance, but I care about Athy and Claude, I wish they could have a happy ending as family in peace.
Quite literally, one of the first BL’s I have ever read and the one that started my love for the genre. While I was a more extreme fujoshi back then, I wasn’t exactly a fan of the genre because of the bad first exposures. I was first exposed with Killing Stalking and another and I thought that most of the BL series was like that, but i was wrong. And honestly, I am thankful for finding this webtoon or else I won’t be able to find the gems I found in this
