A really, really beautiful story about dealing with loss amongst several other themes. Main draw to me is not the romance, but the character study of Mafuyu. Watching him engage with music and his complex relationship with it is so compelling to me. No matter how it ends, it’s always gonna be a bittersweet story.

Characters aren't very outstanding and the brown hair boy is a bit flat, but I couldn’t help but love the mc and be invested with his struggle with overcoming a toxic friendship. You probably shouldn't come in expecting great romance or anything. There are cute bits here and there but it is mostly a character study of mc. The love triangle is not cliche and annoying, it's pretty definitive that one side of the triangle is to display a toxic relationship.

A really easy and cute read. There’s minor angst, but nothing like insanely heavy. Feelings between the main two develop pretty fast, but it was really enjoyable anyway. It has a very coming of age vibe more than romance tbh and I really liked that.
4.5/5
The main pair get together through a pretty dub-con situation and there is another VERY non-con scene later on that the story just kind of brushes over as not a big deal. Aside from that, this manga is super charming. It’s fast-paced, but it works. Really cute

Another yakuza falls story, but this one isn’t that fun to me. There’s also a child thrown in there. Mr. Yakuza develops his feelings like so spontaneously it gave me whiplash. Like one chapter, he is very lukewarm and the next is absolutely enamored. I’m sure it’s entertaining if you really like the tropes involved.
3/5
The angels are the only thing that keep things somewhat interesting. Any conflict is resolved pretty quickly and anti-climactically. I think the main romance is a little weak and they don't have too much personality. Otherwise a pretty fluffy read.

Another mafia type story. This is one is pretty fun though and the mc is super charming. I enjoy the main pair's tiptoeing around the enemies or lovers line together.
3.75/5
There are a lot of strong personalities in this one. It's really popular, but I personally found nothing to enjoy in this one.
2/5
I really love the art direction and all the really creative character designs. The plot tries to have conflict, but it falls a little flat. The main pair are entertaining enough, but their resolution was kind of abrupt and unsatisfying to me. I didn't care for the second pairing.
3.75/5
Main pair are pretty boring imo; doctor patient relationships are always a little uncomfy, especially in this context. The deepest character is actually the best friend with the glasses.
