Trying to build a stable family with their friend's child, and establishing that there is nothing wrong with them which is why they can raise the kid.
This is rather good. It started out wrongly and it became toxic. But seeing as how Yui was able to help Kei face himself, I'd say it's well written.
I actually like Setagawa a lot. He's a decent character, though can be quite indecisive when things really need to be settled. I understand Setagawa's insecurities about his relationship with Kousuke (because I went through the same with my bf but eventually, I just let go of the insecurities by placing BL and anime as my utmost priority in life. Thanks, BL).
From "I want to be his lover" to "I want to be his family". This shattered the idea that having a kid is what true happiness is, seeing as Taichi's mother still ended up cheating even when she already had Taichi, and Nao's mother being against adoption if the kid is only to serve as some sort of way to bind Taichi and Nao removed from their affection.
Toujou and Ayumu emit so much positive energy. Reading this whenever I get stressed (or just whenever I need someone to cheer me on) gets me going for what I need to do at the moment. The energy spurt is not long lasting enough to make me want to get going with my life, but it's enough to get me to do what needs to be done at the moment.
