The manhwa/webtoon that started it all! It will forever hold a place in my heart A solid story line with a wholesome romance plot. The character designs made it an exceptionally attractive read for me; something about Muyoung’s pale complexion and curvy body had me flustered .
It’s still early days but I LOVE this manhwa art style and the story/dialogue is GRIPPING. I’ve already started to feel a range of emotions and excited to feel more! You really know I’m obsessed if I’m committing week to week releases with some re-reading in between!
Hoben’s art style and character designs are beautiful! I started this quite early and committed all the way through until the end of the second couple. Not many webtoons get the privilege of fleshing out their second season (and couple), but this one did and you can really see why a very wholesome development for both seasons.
In between waiting for Mr 100% Perfect chapters I ventured into Hoben’s other work. I had no idea about the omegaverse at this stage, but this story caused my heart to ache. It was worth every strain, with such beautiful development. On my second and third reads I was more knowledgeable of the omegaverse, allowing for a deeper appreciation of this short and bittersweet romance
A follow up of bbong’s Never Understand/Out of Control, spinning off to explore Ayeon’s character…Ayeon is such a beautiful soul, and although his actions were inexcusable, to all those that mattered, he made amends. Incorrigible is so short lived but it was just as splendid, funny, and heartwarming as Jaerim and Yuki’s story. Having the softest spot for Ayeon and being able to read him find himself and a healthy loving relationship was needed closure.
Well textured art style with a very interesting plot development. It’s a slow burner but seamless and I was hooked from the get go!
Funny and witty with such a wholesome story line, plot, and message. Jaerim is such a powerful minded protagonist is paired with an unexpectedly still-in-development but leading heartthrob Yuki in such a hilarious and heartwarming stream of events. The story had me in a cycle of infectious laughter and manic sobbing, with nothing in between, I loved it.
I absolutely adore Nagisa Furuya’s work and this piece was the gateway to a world of joyful suffering that was 200% worth it. Across her works, her characters do share many qualities and physical features, but each story is different and really engages your heart strings. Be prepared to be invested in the knots, twists, and tangles of her character’s relations!
The story is heartwarming but the translations made it a tad difficult for me to wholly connect with the characters and story — after a tease of the official translations, I think I would re-read this more often! I also happen to love MMORPG/isekai-esque works :)
An original Japanese style yaoi that does teeter/play on the standard age gap trope, however the plot and character development voided this from slipping into a smutty/kinky read (not that there’s a problem with such). Instead, a sweet serenade to the heart.
