Very popular manhwa, not entirely revolving around angst or pain. Cuz FL in here aint one to suffer, she's the one serving repentence to all the garbage OG MLs. But I put this on the list cuz it includes shitty crown prince (FL's ex-fiance) regrets treating FL badly and him realising what an asshole he was.
5/10 great story on its own, not the best one for angst
Quick transmigration, so several arcs with different stories and characters. FL is trasmigrating into characters who died unjustly and seek justice for them (usually villainesses, cannon fodders). Most arcs usually have ML regretting not treating the MC/villainess better blah blah. But FL gives no fucks and world hops away once her mission is done.

10/10 - very lengthy regret from ML

Empress FL and Emperor ML were childhood friends, got married with FL's one sided love and ML's promise that he wouldn't cheat on her even he doesn't love her. So the marriage is basically neglect and miscommunications. One day, an illegitimate child appeared. FL was pregnant, but she honestly got so fed up she asked for a divorce. Then she ran away to another kingdom to hide her and her son. ML realises he loves her when she left, goes crazy trying to find her.

Berry wanted to be popular. Mandarin (BF) doesn't want that. So he decides it's better to dress as a girl (he's prettier than her), take away every boy near Berry, put her down and give her some trauma. Honestly both Berry and Darin are *imperfect*, they're both toxic asf but as the story unfolds you get to see some character development.
Really flipped me off reading the first 30 chaps.
5/10 - equally shit ML and FL
ML wasn't as shitty as others on the list, he was just cold and distant due to his *bad childhood*. It's a slow burn romance. But before he starts realising his feelings for FL, he's terrible towards her and hurt her feelings. (FL is a cutie, she doesn't deserve this!)
Tbh, it's a really sweet love-hate relationship. Just added cuz ML later regretted treating FL badly in earlier parts of their contract marriage.
7/10. Not enough angst, but sweet story
Transmigrated FL's engagement to 2nd prince cancelled according to story of otome game. 2nd prince and his posse all denounced her publicly. FL decides to live her best life by governing her father's fief and improving the living conditions.

One by one, everyone in the posse comes to regret having sided with the OG-FL so brainlessly.
7/10 Not angst focused, story's on FL's character growth. But you feel happy whenever the posse members regret.
