Amazing. A thoughtful romance with sincere, interesting characters. The storytelling here is excellent for any genre.
update: The first volume is my FAVORITE—the characters and their relationship are unique. (The plot does start to decline after a few volumes... I don't really like the college arc—there's a lot of cyclical arguments)
My first experience with Harada. The story is so gripping—I thought about it for hours afterwards. A must read.
Dark, surreal, romantic, and sincere. An awesome Oneshot.
The name is fitting—none of the characters are squishy and romantic, and that's great! Scarlet Beriko knows how to work a glance like no other, and all the characters are likeable and compelling. There's an amazing page in the final chapter which is both silly and romantic, Shinoda playfully purrs in Keisuke's ear—it's one of my favorite moments in a Yaoi ever. It's playful in a way that yaoi almost never is.
Yaoi told from a female character's point of view. An amazing compendium of female bystanders and unrequited loves. Any fan of the genre should check this out.
(Harada's was my favorite.)
I haven't even finished this yet—I'll do it later today. The reflections of Eita Kabi and her struggles with depression and eating disorders. It's such a personal, intimate, and relatable look at Depression. It's serious, but not overly dark. I've never read anything that was so frank. She gives Alison Bechdel (Fun Home) a run for her money.
My first experience with GSNk was an amazing clip on Tumblr. Later, I read this by chance. I'm *so glad* I did. It's fucking hilarious. If you've EVER read Shoujo manga, you cannot pass this up.
Extremely cute with great chemistry between the couple. We need more manga with chubby heroines!
