Overall it was just fine. The one thing which hurts me the most is that most things are left unexplained, like even the most necessary ones. The Horizon, undoubtedly one of the saddest and most emotional stories I have ever read and not to mention the very interesting and strong message that the author wanted to pass on to readers.

if you like to torture yourself with every single negative feelings that are humanly possible (except for shame), then read this one. It's good read if you are into those stories with negative emotion atmosphere & rapid progressions. I personally don't really enjoy this but i can see the charm in it. i still finished this though so i can say that this worth a shot.

This was such a brutal thing to read, this was so freaking good. It's a smart manga that is gory, painful, frequently hilarious, and will make you feel despair like you've never felt before.The plot thrives on its unexpectedness. It's a story with a lot of twists and turns in its plot and characterization, but it's most effective in its inversion of shounen cliches, which gives it a lot more impact. I absolutely love the side characters this was such a banger.

I fully enjoyed the entire ride. Each arc was a joy to read and it was nicely tense. The resolutions are always super satisfying and I actually enjoyed reading the expositions because each speech bubble had its purpose in the manga. Nothing seemed meaningless. This manga is not philosophical and thought provoking but the problems the characters face are always fun to read. It’s a nice escape from reality.

The story is really dumb. But if you're the type of person that will read this after being intrigued by the plot-line, then you might enjoy it. I read it because I like darker stuff, but rather than being pitch-black, plus the rest of the artwork is well done. But holy shit this will make you lose a few brain cells in the process of reading it.

This is all about subtle misdirection. It doesn't outright lie to you, but it tries to deceive you by careful omission and double-meanings. In contrast to fiction that is all about twists and turns of plot, nearly all the revelations in Doctor Du Ming are psychological ones. It's your understanding of the characters and their motivations that will shift drastically, and that would color the few important events in the manga in a different light.
