Chapter 1,2) Chiba is an convenience man who was requested by Aki to become his friend/someone to complain to. He though Aki was a lonely child but turns out aki is a grown (beautiful) man. Chiba is loved by all and has a very warm and loving personality while aki is hard working and cold on the outside.

Anjou works part time at a convenience store who is on friendly terms with the very sweet Mikawa who is a regular customer. However, Mikawa got drunk and Anjou decided to take him home but he did not know that Mikawa was only pretending to be innocent.
Tooru works as a concierge at an expensive hotel who is in a sex relationship with a a famous artist named Jean Claude who usually rents the penthouse. Just when Tooru feels like he is being used by Jean, his ex lover, Smith pops up who dumped him to get married.
Sasaki kenji just divorced at 25 and is currently working as a beautician assistant that barely pays for food. He loves buying oyako-don at a convenience store until the shop assistant told him to eat healthier since he always eats the same thing. The shop assistant (Oka) is tall, solitary and distant but really handsome when he smiles. They become close and Sasaki learns that Oka is studying to become a chef.
Nishiyama recently became the manager of a convenience store and have no troubles except for the veteran part timer, Hagashino who is very strict to the other part timers. After Nishiyama started working night shift with the unsocial Hohashino, started to open up.
Miyama works at a convenience store who have lost contact with his friends and has no social life. One day he received a message which he though was to a wrong number but since he had time to kill and he is lonely, he started replying. The messaging between him and Shiratori became his favorite pass time even though they have never met.
Shinichirou own an art supply store and Setsu is a frequent customer who never buys anything and just walks around the shop. Shinichirou first met Setsu who was collapsed outside of his shop so he fed him and like a cat, Setsu returns.
Yonemura (30) supervises various convince stores and was in love with his junior,Nishiyama, who managed one of his convince stores. However, he had his heart broken but Ando (20), who is a part timer witnessed everything and confessed to Yonemura. He was rejected by Yonemura but he is determined to make Yonemura fall for him.
