Theme: Detective, Murder-mystery

I will consider the prequel in this review as well. I like how the characters are consistent throughout the story, and how the flashbacks gives meaning to their selves. Even before the development of romantic feelings, seme treated the uke, who had led a tough life, with care and respect and worried about his wellbeing. The mutual understanding and their shared goal as detectives in solving cases felt good to read.
Theme: Military, Politics, Vigilante mission

The seme following his ideals can be seen as a little selfish on his part, but this is what gives the manga a good mixture of plot and romance. I like how both the MCs has their own roles. Starting off as coworkers, becoming best friends after and then delving into romance created good chemistry.
1 dub-con scene
Theme: Superhuman/mutant
• sp:
This one's more based on feelings than the plot. The MCs are both helpless to their situations. I like the seme's character growth due to uke's influence and how their individual feelings change as their relationship deepen.
1 almost rape scene, abuse scenes in the beginning
Theme: WW2

This one's pretty much based on emotion. The plot is formed from impact of war, nostalgic flashbacks and longing for love. The seme's eventual character development led to the uke's unrequited feelings being returned.
Theme: Revenge, Psychological drama
Theme: Psychological trauma, Smut
