Nakoshi is the worst fucking person but also so interesting?? he continuously askes questions he doesn't seem to want an answer to, what it means to be human? Are people simply a product of their environments? society? friends or family? He seems to try to help people only to understand himself and what his purpose is. This was very disturbing... but still an interesting say on social classes and ego. I have so much I want to say about this stupid manga >:l
dude trips out while making spaggeti
soul sucking babies?! insightful communists!? a political daycare prison?!
a look at the afterlife that is confusing and without a clear direction. It felt sad even when the author tried to write void of emotions, still, the way that the boy had died was very disturbing. kind of poetic I guess?
This manga is so comforting in a way, Emanon is able to remember everything from the first life on earth. She watches as the world spin around her constantly changing while she is the only one to remain still. She is the only consistent variable... but without purpose. it's so hauntingly empty... but also freeing?
Nakamura's view on the world, in the way that she simply didn't care... about anything. She looked at people as puppets that can act in a show to entertain her. or maybe she truly believed in 'the other side and looked at Kasuga as someone to 'go' with. Maybe she really did fall in love with him and it was a fucked up way to 'connect them'. I think the interesting thing about this story is not knowing why Nakamura acts the way that she does.
