not a recommendation for someone who wants a happy and peaceful life because it destroyed mine.
i have a soft spot for orphans with terrible family history and backgrounds
the futility in these kind of stories is really interesting to me. its crazy how much you hope for something cliche to happen, only for everything to go downhill without even being made a big deal
read this while listening to the 10min version of all too well on repeat and i have been angry crying for much longer than i am willing to disclose
I would never, in my right mind, reread this. the revenge was well-deserved but i hadn’t read much stories of such intensity at the time so it took a while for me to finish. honestly think this jump started my affinity for the genre.
its another story where you feel bad about disliking the “antagonist” all because their actions were brought about by some kind of trauma they didn’t healthily cope with. i almost did…
think its quite a realistic take of how mental illness works. couldnt help but think of the worst for the ending. thankfully, it didnt end as i had predicted—at least i thought it didnt….
bro the ending
so sweet but heartbreaking
wtf im bawling
