Romance/relationship-focused Romance with equal focus on other aspects (e.g. fantasy adventure, mystery, personal journey, etc.) Smut with minimal or no real plot
Very fluffy cute couples. It's not the most amazing manga ever, but it's definitely underrated and is a personal favorite of mine because this amount of enthusiastic consent in a yaoi from 2003 is practically groundbreaking. The low rating is due to a combination of prejudice against sex workers (even though Toru did it by choice) and straight girls who feel the need to apply heteronormative stereotypes to gay men and complain about androgynous semes and non-monogamy
