Company-man Sakuraba makes himself cute lunches every day, reads girls' comics, and generally loves all things feminine. Sakuraba is speechless when he meets his favorite manga artist, Megumi Nono, at a book signing... because it turns out that his idol is actually his neighbor! He goes to visit him a few days later, only to have Megumi collapse, leaving Sakuraba to care for him. And that's how he becomes friends with his neighbor and idol.....!

One day, Ritsu Nitta - a boy so handsome he could be the hero of a romance manga - comes falling out of the sky. He is saved by Tomoru, who in response to Ritsu's request to pay him back, asks for his help in his after school job...as a professional girls' manga author. Ritsu agrees to act out scenes from Tomoru's manga, but when he learns he is meant to play the rival character instead of the hero, he grabs Tomoru by the collar and forces a kiss on him...
