Yuri, Yuri, and More Yuri

Can't say much cause their aren't that many chapters yet, but I'm looking forward to future chapters. The character personalities are interesting and refreshing. I can't wait to see how the romance plays out.

A love story mixed with multiple affairs and deception.

It's a very compelling read. I had to pause multiple times about who was in the wrong or not. But genuinely just watching the story unfold is interesting. There's a bunch of curve balls coming left and right that keeps the story fresh and engaging.

Ah yes, the world of best friends to lovers. But anyways, if you're looking for a fluffy read this is a go to. The characters are super lovable, tho Jaein took a while before I liked her. Straight 100/10 for me,and I'm currently looking forward for more of the side story.

I'm convinced the author is relishing in our suffering. Anyways! This story started on the premise that Cangshu said that she likes Qi Lin so that she wouldn't be asked questions about her love life, you'd think that this is the grounds for a fake dating plot but no! Nothing has happened between them in turns of romance, but there's nothing wrong with slow burn. The comedy is well timed and the story beats are great.

Girlie started off so bold then dwindled down real quick, then again shit happens when you fall in love. I honestly feel like I keep finding friends to lovers stuff lately, (could this be a sign???) but I have no complaints. I honestly love this trope and love the many ways you can go about it, this is definitely one of my favorite interpretations of the friends to lovers trope. Not sure if this is still getting updated but I look forward to future chapters.

As I rewrite this review, I realize that the girls look a lot like Riko and Chika from Love Live Sunshine. It's a weird thought but it is their. But of course it couldn't be cause Riko's scared shitless whenever a dog's involved.

Intro aside, please don't expect this to be light hearted. Sure for some of it it's fluffy, but there are so many emotional layers that it really isn't a bright and sunny story of two girls participating in non-sexual pet-play.

Pleasantries aside, I am a huge fan of these types of works, it's just rare to find them. Right now I'm feeling very conflicted as to how I should feel about Ren, but that's the beauty of these types of works, the conflicted feelings. I have said before that I like when the characters write fiction within their universe and this is the perfect example of why I like the trope. The concept of fiction turning into reality is a very attractive concept, coupled with the murder plot of course.

Talk about an emotional Rollercoaster.
Honestly, I still don't like the reason as to why Reichii and Kaoru married, even if it was so integral to the plot, it just didn't mesh well with me. But that's just my opinion.
This thing is the definition of slow burn, so be warned. The amount of angst is normal for an unrequited-requited story, didn't need to mention this but I still wanted to say there's angst.
The side couple is very cute as well. And the main one is cute and hurtsy at the same time.

It's... How can I say this... Scarily realistic. Relationships can start going into the realm of insecurity where you're scared that your partner is going to leave you, and in turn you start taking their freedom away. It's toxic and sometimes your partner will turn a blind eye and still love you. I'm not saying it's okay but... This just shows a portrayal on how these relationships can appear.
