I really liked the communication and how the had troubles with his feelings cause he was betrayed, it didn't portray him as the victim all the time, instead he was more focused on learning whether his feelings were true or he just missed the warmth of another person. Also how patient the seme was, but at the same time strived for what he wanted til the end.
