The art is gorgeous, it's equal parts hilarious and adorable, and Rookie calling Shu-Li "Mommy" somehow works in peak omegaverse fashion. My only gripe is the translation keeps randomly calling Rookie "he" even though she's very obviously a female Husky.
It took my brain a solid minute to go, "...wait." Then: "Oh right. Omegaverse. Carry on."
Murmur is two women with unresolved high school drama, drawn like a crime against emotional stability. The tension between these two is so thick, you could slap it. Every panel screams, “We were dumb teenagers, now we’re adults with excellent bone structure and unfinished emotional trauma.” Come for the gorgeous visuals! Stay for the sexy tension, unresolved drama, and constant feeling that you’re intruding on something personal.
The Wind Spell understands that the most powerful magic is unresolved lesbian tension and it wields that power irresponsibly.
Read if you enjoy slow burns that feel real, characters who don’t magically have their shit together, and romance built on stolen glances, trust, and emotional restraint instead of cringe dialogue. It’s cozy but sharp, soft but devastating, and it will absolutely make you pause mid-page to process your feelings.
Perfection. Does it have sex? Who knows. But holy hell, the art alone deserves a standing ovation. I came for the pretty panels and ended up staying for the characters. The leads are great, and even the side characters are interesting; which is rare because I usually forget those people exist the moment they leave the panel.
The conflicts are a little tropey, but twisted just enough to still feel fresh instead of like reheated leftovers.

The art leans hard into expressive embarrassment and confidently charged sensuality, turning every awkward or heated moment into a full-on spectacle in full color. Tension is playful, messy, and fully aware it’s crossing lines while grinning about it.

I don’t usually add fluff to my library, but this one is way too good to leave out. I absolutely love the dynamic between these two. The chemistry is just ridiculously fun to watch and the art style is fantastic. Everything flows at a really nice pace, nothing feels rushed, and the story just lets their interactions breathe. And the leads? Peak adorkable. Seriously, the kind of characters that make you grin like an idiot while reading. I’m fully invested and here for the long haul!
Loving this so far. The art? Chef’s kiss. Every panel looks like it knew I was coming and decided to show off. I’m also really into the blind MC. Def not something you see every day, and it adds a cool twist that I’m more than willing to buckle up for. The story feels like it’s setting up a slow burn, but the kind where you know the payoff is gonna hit like a truck. For now I’m just sitting here, enjoying the ride and watching the tension slowly cook.

Candy and Whip is exactly what it sounds like: sweet on the surface with something much sharper hiding underneath. The art absolutely slaps, and every glance or “accidental” touch feels loaded with intent. The chemistry between the leads could start its own storm system. But don’t let the candy coating fool you. This story gets dark fast and feels like something dangerous is always simmering just under the surface.

Cuz yeah for whatever reason I see some people completely love it or others are rating super low, at least on MAL, from what I’ve seen.
A lot of people dislike it because it presses on every sensitive button at once: age gap, power imbalance, sexual assault, cheating, even the “gay for pay” and religious angle. That cocktail's going to set off alarms for some, especially in GL space where people are often looking for softness, safety, and affirming dynamics.
When a sapphic story leans into moral grayness instead of comfort, it gets scrutinized harder. Add in the visual coding; one character looking older, less "kawaii", thin enough that you can see her ribs, and suddenly it doesn’t fit the cute, symmetrical yuri template people are used to. For some, that feels uncomfortable. For me, that contrast is part of what makes LtN compelling, intense, and my number one.
I think the big divide comes down to whether people see it as glorifying toxicity or exploring complicated human behavior. Depiction isn’t endorsement. Stories about flawed, messy, even ethically questionable relationships can still be powerful if they’re interrogating those dynamics instead of pretending they’re perfect.
Not every GL has to be soft and healing; some are sharp and reckless and uncomfortable on purpose. That doesn’t make them bad; it makes them provocative. And provocative art and stories will always split a room. That's my 2 cents.(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
