Season 1 just ended but I have enjoyed every single second of this - from the ending twist of ep. 1 (that took me out ngl, and I love it!). However they choose to conclude this, it was such a great ride that I’m here for it. Super interesting, great female relationships and dynamics, very engaging. I love the bright shojo art contrasting w/ the zombie horror elements.

It’s way too short!! anyways, I like the yandere vampire, and the knight is soooooooo sweeettt!! he makes me happy cry. I love them both. The art is gorgeous. The smut is gorgeous. It’s a little dubcon-y. (Ok, I guess it’s rape, but my standards for consent in a fictional yaoi are quite low, and besides, this is a vampire fic, which is dubcon enough). The vampire dude is sweet to the knight (as the knight deserves!). Explicit, uncensored.

Here because it’s soooo cute for no reason demon king x human prince. Demon king is a marshmallow and deserves the world. This is funny and slice of life. the couple is literally the sweetest and the side characters are fun. I’m assuming it’s complete. The art is clean and pretty. Nothing here annoyed me at all. All fluff, with a minimal dash of angst. Not much character development, but that’s expected for a short story. Explicit, censored

I’m putting this here cause the POTENTIAL if it was longer - it would be sooo epic. It’s already great as the short story that it is. I like the world (feudal Japan, humans and monks and yokai, ala inuyasha), and all the characters are a delight. Very cute and wholesome, fairly low angst. Some interesting elements (imagine the goods a few xtra chaps can bring). The pacing is good, and I do like the way it concludes for the pair.

Look I was not expecting this to be on this list. Despite the bonkers concept and some mild miscommunication angst (I hate miscommunication so much), this was still fun to read. It’s so chaotic and weird, but in a charming, cute way. Literally, they’re soooo cute . Even the side characters are ridiculous but quirky fun. A nice combination of humor, smut and fluff. Not much depth, but it’s a 5 chapter crack-like story, so that’s to be expected. Explicit, censored.

So um I’ve read a lot of disturbing stuff, but this is the only one that made me feel like I should go to jail lol not really but also I enjoyed this, tbh, despite the discomfiting parts… ┐(‘～`;)┌ … it’s like Lolita, but omegaverse, gay, and WAY more wholesome and consensual. This is actually so soft and gentle and *vibes*. I love seasonal-themed stories - here it’s winter aesthetics. The developing relationship and photography metaphors are so lovely, and reading this feels like having hot cocoa on a cold day (look, I’m making metaphors too lol). The art is super clean and nice. It’s a heartwarming slow burn romance.

The ONLY similarity this has with Fruits Basket is the anthropomorphic zodiac. Otherwise, this is mostly fluff and smut with the occasional angst. The relationship is cute and spicy. I liked them a lot. I was annoyed with some parts tbh. BUT what really sold me is all the side characters- so much fun, so much personality. I love them. Explicit, censored (1 uncensored chapter)
