Tbh: it definitely gave me “imperialist wants to educate backward ignorant native” vibes which is eeekkk. But I’m gonna ignore that and focus on the hottest (!) character ever- Q. I don’t blame Ryo for marrying Q after like 6 months of knowing him. I’d do the same. Feel-good from start to end. Their relationship got cuter as the story went on (loyal, wholesome, gentle, green flags, BOTH so likable). Love the art and details of the tribe and character designs. Explic

Usually I wouldn’t put a story like this in this list. Especially cause I wanted an extra chapter damnit! Would be 100% better with an xtra. But the leads are so fu*king sincere, sweet and gentle (esp. to each other) that I was charmed. Like even stuff that usually annoy me didn’t annoy me here (ex: fiancée character). A bit of an open, but happy, ending. Very cheesy harlequin romance, but gay. It’s great. Explicit, censored

Tbh it doesn’t deserve to be on this list lol but I enjoyed it a bit too much. True I was annoyed with the miscommunication bit in the start and the Korean dude is VERY “toxic clingy dramatic jealous wife energy,” but blondie is into it so it’s less annoying. They’re codependent, unhealthily obsessed with each other, and are each other’s “firsts,” and I freaking love all that. Interracial, mostly fluff/comedy and smut. Explicit, censored.

Initially, despite the likable and soooo pretty in their own way leads, phenomenal(!) art, and decent story, the miscommunication lasted a BIT too long so I was gonna put this on a lower list. But after they got together? So cute! There’s still melodrama but it never got too serious, thus ended up as a comedy, and was real fun to read. Very loyal leads!!! fun side characters. Look idk if this is really THAT good or I’ve been reading so much unhinged smut lately that this is just so heartwarming by comparison lol, but I enjoyed this A LOT. an interesting fantasy setting, adorable sweet genuine gentle loyal sacrificial leads. caring for each other, 80% (literal) fluff, light angst, choosing one other. It just hits a lot of my personal fave romantic tropes. No villains really, likable side characters — this story gives strong Ghibli energy/vibe/themes.

I love the premise, the art, the story and character designs, the pacing was good and the SMUT was sooooooo HOT. I like the redhead a lot. Some conflicts were annoying, and some parts really pissed me off I won’t lie, but for this smut genre, they weren’t that bad, some stuff are just squicks for me. Overall, I loved this so much. They’re very cute. Explicit, censored.

Schoolboy stories usually aren’t good enough to make it in this list for me.. but I guess I’m in a mood, and I LOVE this. The MCs are stupid hs boys, but also a little bit unwell/unhinged/weird… it’s great! Whatever tiny misunderstanding there were were easily cleared and damn near inconsequential. The side characters were funny too. Unique top/bottom dynamic I enjoy and need more of. They adore each other. The kissing scenes were soooo good I blush. Explicit, censored.

I really really enjoyed it. The art is phenomenal. And I freaking love the comedy. While it did annoy me at parts - as is the case with secret identities/emotional miscommunications - they didn’t last too long & the good parts of the story made up for that. The characters are so delightful, MCs so dedicated to each other. Despite some serious subject matter, this really maintained a light-hearted tone. I really enjoyed this so much.

I can always trust this author - I swear we like the same things. Great art, sexy characters, fun plot. They love each other so much, it was never one-sided. I love them both. I like that their conflicts is external, not relationship problems. I like most of the tropes/backstories. There is a bit in the middle with the brother/cousin that pissed me off, but everything else is so great I can move past it. Perfect mix of drama, angst, romance, sex and fluff. Explicit, uncensored.

My goodness what CUTE characters. Does it objectively need to be rated this high? Maybe not, but every short chapter made me smile. The story is VERY simple, but the characters are so sweet and likable, the smut is sexy explicit without being obscene (I think), and the art is great. I love this author. Buff bottom x pretty top - love that dynamic. First times with each other! Explicit, censored.
