A wolf adopts a golden retriever basically, and gets squashed 60% of the book.
AMAZING, kudos to the translator for successfully conveying the sheer poetry that is the narrative. It’s about a cat who loves her owner very much, and her perception of her.
An ethics teacher guiding his students through life, each chapter holds each student’s backstory or current problems they are going through. Amazing read. Definitely cried a few times.
A midnight diner which welcomes people from all walks of life, bringing their stories with them.
Sob fest. Two disabled classmates become trusted, close friends who help each other through their own struggles. Starts off heart-wrenching but ends up being wholesome. Will read again and again for the sheer pure good souls that they are.
Bunch of good-looking idiots get away with being airheads, and I get to laugh at them. Real cute.
Something to read if you don’t have an appetite. Love how cute the main characters are - a 30+ designer lives together with a 20+ yo truck driver and cooks for him. Interactions between the old friends as they devour what looks like a lot of dinner.
A historical restaurant, marked by a sign with a picture of a cat, is called "Western Cuisine Nekoya." It looks completely normal through the week, but on Saturdays, it opens in secret exclusively in various areas of a parallel world open to allow customers of many different races and cultures into the restaurant. Cute characters, a lot of fluff and comedy, and likeable characters.
Two brothers start eating together with this shy loner ever since the younger brother started being obsessed with his rice balls. A lot less confusing than my summary. Anyhow, the adults fall in love and on with the wholesome times.
