♧ 9,75/10 -> Character Growth / Horror +++
Same universe as 'Sweet Home'
Technically it is a prequel of 'Sweet home' since it happens before the events of sweet home.
However the last 2 chapters come after a timelap, and they are connected with the ending of 'Sweet home'
So I really think it's better to read 'Sweet home' first, then 'Shotgun Boy'.
But remember that apart from the last chapters the events in 'Shotgun Boy' happen before 'Sweet home'
