Ummm . . . I think I might drop though. This is not a fluffy cute romance/fam story. It's MC at his wit's end becoming dependent on someone and can be seen as taking advantage of ML's feelings to that end. That's not a bad thing in itself (MC was running himself into a pit; parenting takes a village for a reason) but romance emerging from desperation and dependence just don't sit right w/ me. Unhealthy for sure. This romance element leaves me feeling really put off and disgusted, Idk.

Does it not break your brain cells and corrupt all cognitive function from the sheer stupidity and repulsiveness? My g FORGAVE his bro for assaulting and attempting to rape his ex by saying it was his fault, his bro was still cool and he wanted his bro to come home, rapist or not. MC could've bit off his nasty dick/screamed for help no matter who came, but instead MC dutifully sucked him off, why? Never thought there'd be a slave auction story that I thought was cute . . . but here we are and I'm conflicted.
