a very wholesome about mangaka from the countryside! the little girl is kind of annoying (lmao it's her character so whatever), but other than that, I enjoyed the story!

very informative and entertaining at the same time. however, it was a bit difficult to keep interest since this manga was basically just giving information about penguins every chapter.
my favorite character probably has to be Africa, even though he has the least amount of page time;;

as expected of the popular author, Junji Ito... this was quite a journey and the ending for the main story was, unexpectedly quite sentimental. for it to be my first manga from him, I've enjoyed it immensely.

was about this pretty girl who always ends up getting killed or chopped up, but somehow comes back many times. is filled with romantic chapters and just a lot of crazy men. not really my type.

this story collection was actually pretty interesting! I think the one I liked the most was the ribs one.

I was really into in the stories about the boy who's home alone and the mysteries of his house. wish there were more because they were the most interesting to me.

this book had a lot more nudity than normal, as well as romance, so I didn't really enjoy it as much. also, it had stories that were in other books as well (like the human tunnel story). it's still good, but definitely not a favorite.
