YES YES. EVERYTHING WAS SO NICE. i wanted more background info on the characters and our mc’d but I think part of its beauty is the vagueness of it all. It was irrationally cute and even though it didn’t turn to a romantic route the author made it work without it. I love love it

Thank fuck it didn’t turn out like the authors other short stories(yknow the whole old ass animal falls ‘in love’ with little kid trope they’ve got going on) and the ending confused me to the point where I had to go on multiple Reddit threads to figure it out(pretty sure i still dont completely know but meh) made me cry, laugh, scared and so much more. Love love love
